Is there a minimum night stay?
Yes, there is a 3 night minimum stay for most of our homes. A 3 night stay can only be booked 30 days prior to your desired arrival date. We do not have a 3 night stay in the summer months. We only rent weekly Saturday to Saturday in June, July, and August.
What are the check-in and check- out times?
Check in at 4:00pm, and check out is no later than 10:00am.
What payment methods do you accept?
Check, Cashier’s Check, MasterCard, or Visa. If paid by credit card there is a 3% credit card fee as that is what we are charged.
Do you collect a damage deposit?
Yes, the majority of our homes require a $500.00 refundable damage deposit. Some of our luxury homes require a $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 refundable damage deposit.
Are weddings allowed?
No, weddings and events of any kind are not allowed at the home.
When is my damage deposit returned to me?
Four to six weeks after your departure date.
Are there any other fees besides rent?
Along with the damage deposit, we require a credit card fee if you choose to pay by credit card and a cleaning fee.
What is your cancellation policy?
Rent money is Non-Refundable. Capistrano Realty will agree to refund the rental deposits to guests, only in the event that the subject property is re-rented. In the event of the foregoing, a refund of rent collected will be given less a 18% cancellation fee.
Company and Guest shall make their respective best efforts to re-rent in the event of cancellation.
Do your homes provide air conditioning?
Most homes do not have air conditioning. Thankfully, being on the coast we have a wonderful breeze that allows you to open the windows to cool off the home. Homes are equipped with fans, and additional fans are provided upon request.
Is there internet access?
Yes, all of our homes have WIFI.
Do you supply linens?
Yes, we provide bath towels and bed linens. However, we do not supply washcloths and kitchen towels for sanitary reasons.
What is stocked in the kitchens?
We provide all dinnerware and flatware, a variety of utensils for cooking/baking/serving/etc., all major and minor appliances including blender, toaster, and coffee maker.
What appliances are in the units?
Appliances vary by unit, but most include Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Oven/Stove, Microwave, Blender, Toaster, Coffee Maker, Television, DVD Player, Wireless Internet, Charcoal or Gas BBQ, Iron and Ironing Board. Please note that not all units are stocked with
these appliances. Please inquire for amenities specific to a unit.
What do you suggest bringing?
We provide toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap to start off your stay. We suggest taking inventory of the house before shopping for your home. Some items you may want to pick up are:
- -Saran Wrap and foil
- -Extra trash bags
- -Beach towels
- -Water shoes
- -Beach chairs and toys
- -Laundry, dish, and dishwasher soap
- -Ice chest
- -Beach chairs
Do the homes have fire pits?
Most of our homes do have propane or natural gas fire pits. Wood burnng fire pits are no longer allowed.
Is there a lifeguard provided at the beach?
NO. These homes are in a private community with no lifeguard.
How many parking spaces are available?
At least 3 parking spaces are available at each home. Some homes are provided with additional spaces.
